These terms cover buying and using Esoteric, the Windows app, and this website. By buying a plan or using the app, you agree to them.
The license
A plan gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use Esoteric on one Windows PC at a time while your plan is current. You may not resell, share, copy or reverse engineer the app or your license key.
Plans and billing
- Monthly and Yearly are subscriptions. They start with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers; a card is required. The trial is once per person: if your email or card has had a subscription before, you're charged at checkout. When the trial ends you're charged, and then again each month or year until you cancel.
- Founders is a one-time payment for a lifetime license. Only 100 are sold.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and may include tax where it applies.
- We may change prices for future periods. If we do, we'll tell subscribers before their next renewal.
Cancelling
You can cancel a subscription anytime from Manage billing. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. If a renewal payment fails and isn't recovered, the plan ends.
Your content
Your scripts, recordings and videos are yours. They're made and kept on your PC. You're responsible for having the rights to everything you put in a video, including gameplay and music, and for following the rules of any platform you publish to.
AI features
Where you have the Script writer, it sends your prompts to the AI provider you choose, using your own key, under that provider's terms. You're responsible for checking what it writes before you publish.
No guarantee of results
Esoteric is a tool for making videos. We make no promise about views, subscribers or income from anything you make with it.
Warranty and liability
The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be free of errors. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Ending a license
We may end a license that's used in breach of these terms, for example a shared or resold key.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
