Esoteric is built to do its work on your PC. We collect as little as we can to sell and license it.
What stays on your PC
Your scripts, recordings, gameplay, captions and exported videos. The app does not upload them to us.
What we keep
- When you buy: your email address, your plan and its status, and the Stripe customer and subscription ids. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
- When the app checks your license: your license key, an identifier for your PC (so a key is used on one PC at a time) and when it last checked in.
Why
To issue and check your license, to send your key and receipts, to answer support emails, and to stop keys being shared.
Who else sees it
- Stripe processes payments and runs the billing portal.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and the license server.
- If you use the Script writer, your prompts go to the AI provider you choose, under its own privacy terms.
We don't sell your data and this site doesn't use advertising trackers.
How long
License and purchase records are kept while your license exists and as long as the law requires for tax records after that.
Your choices
You can ask to see or delete your data by emailing support@areyouesoteric.cc. Deleting it ends the license tied to it.
